Operation: Irvine Regional Park

Irvine Regional Park is the oldest park in Orange County. Originally known as “The Great Picnic Grounds,” This park was home to early German colonists that utilized the area during the mid 1800’s. During World War II, Irvine Regional Park was closed to the public and opened as an army post called "Camp Rathkey."
