Operation: Laguna Coast Wilderness Park

The county dedicated Laguna Coast Wilderness Park in 1993. It can be described as an “Island of Wilderness” due to the large amount of natural and undeveloped land within the park grounds. One of the main attractions of this park is the Little Sycamore Canyon Trail. Take a hike to the top of this trail, and you will be able to clearly see the difference between natural and developed land.

Laguna Coast Wilderness was saved from development by the local community and their donations. Can you name the two individuals responsible for the Nature Center?

Hint: The Nature Center is named after these two people.
